Transformation Backlog

The transformation backlog tracks improvement initiatives required to strengthen the Agile operating model.

Unlike team backlogs, this backlog focuses on system-level improvements, including governance, delivery flow, engineering practices, and cultural alignment.

Audience:

  • Transformation leads
  • Agile coaches
  • Engineering leadership
  • Transformation sponsors

Backlog Structure

Each backlog item should represent a system improvement initiative, not a feature or product change.

Example improvement areas:

  • delivery flow improvements
  • engineering quality improvements
  • organizational alignment changes
  • governance improvements
  • tooling or automation improvements
