Agile Transformation Playbook

This repository contains a structured playbook for designing, executing, and sustaining an Agile transformation.

It provides:

  • an Agile operating model
  • governance structures
  • delivery flow design
  • coaching structures
  • transformation measurement
  • templates and artifacts used in real transformations

The goal is to make Agile transformation explicit, repeatable, and measurable.

Unified Transformation Model

This playbook describes Agile transformation as a system that evolves over time through capability development, organizational learning, and continuous improvement.

How to Read This Model

The transformation model combines several dimensions of organizational change.

Transformation Journey

Organizations typically progress through phases ranging from discovery and experimentation to continuous evolution.

Capability Accelerators

Capability accelerators help teams and leaders adopt new practices more rapidly. Examples include Dojo programs, DevOps coaching, and engineering communities.

Transformation System

The playbook defines structural components that support transformation, including delivery systems, governance models, metrics frameworks, and transformation lifecycle processes.

Maturity Progression

As transformation progresses, organizations develop higher levels of delivery maturity, moving from ad hoc practices to adaptive and continuously improving systems.

Agile Transformation System Architecture

The playbook defines an integrated system for designing, executing, and sustaining Agile transformation.

Transformation Journey

Agile transformation typically progresses through several stages as organizations build delivery capability and cultural alignment.
